ALTECA, Ltd is now offering validated food pathogen testing for Escherichia coli O157 and other shigatoxin-producing E. coli, Salmonella as well as Listeria in a rapid and accurate format. These tests can provide presumptive positive test results within a matter of days of receiving the sample. These tests will determine if any of the three listed pathogens are present, and if further confirmation and remediation is needed. These tests can be used to detect the pathogens in food products, or even on environmental surfaces using environmental swabs.
